Daniel Lisak

With an extensive and diverse academic background, Daniel graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the Mauá Engineering School and holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and an MBA in Business Management from the Business School São Paulo (BSP) and Toronto University. He has also completed the Global Business course at IMD and the Qualification for Board Members at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC), as well as the Orchestrating Winning Performance (OWP) at the IMD Business School in Switzerland. 

 

In 25 years of career, Daniel has been a business executive at Grupo Ultra, CEO of Vopak in Brazil and member of both the Board of Directors of Dutcham (Brazil-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce) and the Council of the Hebraica Club of São Paulo. He is currently a certified Board Member by the IBGC and Vice President of the Board of Directors of Colégio Renascença.

 

He started his career at Ultracargo, where his career path from trainee to executive manager put him in charge of developing new businesses - from conception to operationalization - adding customized services to meet the needs of clients. Among the various activities and projects he has executed, the following stand out: development of management information systems; conception and implementation of software for transportation and storage management; creation and implementation of a new Business Area; implementation of warehouses with multimodal operations; and mergers and acquisitions of companies. During his 17 years at the Ultra Group, he honed his skills in business and high-performance team management, as well as in negotiating with suppliers and clients.

 

As CEO of Vopak in Brazil, he was responsible for the P&L with the mission of accelerating the company's profitable growth and implementing a new global corporate governance model. During this period, he consolidated his skills in business management and deepened relationships with the financial market, public agencies, class entities, regulatory agencies, ministries, embassies, and consulates.

 

In 2015, he brought all his expertise to RGF, helping clients identify growth strategies, manage budgets and costs, develop feasibility studies for creating and expanding businesses, and lead merger processes. In addition, Daniel always uses his people management skills to drive the development of employees and diverse teams in companies, and also contributes to the implementation of governance. Internally, he helped create a specialized unit focused on logistics projects and contributed to the consolidation of a practical and objective work method that aims to deliver excellence and agility.
